What can I expect at the complimentary Meet and Greet?

I will meet with you and your cat(s) at your house. This is the time where you want to go over everything important before you let me take care of your kid(s). This can range from parking, daily routine of your cat(s), meds if applicable, alarm, how many visits per day you want, any other questions... You will need to provide keys.

What areas do you serve?

I service Montrose/Midtown, Downtown, Museum District, Memorial/Washington Ave, River Oaks, and Heights.

Is Claire and Cats Insured?

Yes, Claire and Cats is insured through Pet Sitters Associates.

What if something happens to my cat sitter while I am away? Will I have a back up?

Absolutely! My top priority is ensuring your cat receives the best care, free from any anxiety or stress. In the unlikely event that I or a cat sitter is unable to be there, we will inform you. You'll have the chance to meet another sitter in advance, so you can have a peace of mind, knowing you won't have stranger entering your home.

What is your cancellation policy?

Please give me at least 24h notice if you have to cancel. I will decline to provide service for clients with multiple same day last minute cancellations.

Will I receive updates?

Absolutely. You will receive photos and videos after each visit. I usually send updates through text, but if you prefer WhatsApp or email, I can do that as well.

How do you take care of emergencies?

In the event of your cat requires for immediate medical condition, I will take them to vet, under the permission of the owner. Fyi, I am certified with Pet CPR and Pet First Aid.

What happens if I am away and the weather is bad?

When it comes to bad weather including hail or extreme flooding in Houston, I will try my best to get to your baby. If the roads are closed or impassable, I will reach out to the listed emergency contact.

How is the payment and invoice handled?

After your last visit, I will send you an invoice and you can pay through Zelle, Apple Pay, PayPal or Venmo in a timely manner. I do not accept checks or other forms of payment.

What happens if I come home early or later than the scheduled visits?

Just let me know ahead of time, and we will work it out to make sure everything is good.

Do you offer overnight visits?

Unfortunately I do not take overnight visits, however I do offer longer visits. Please let me know how long of a visit you need and we will go from there.

How much extra for the holidays?

It would be additional $15 per day for the national holidays - Labor day, Christmas Eve, Christmas, Thanksgiving, New Years Eve, New Years, Memorial day, Independence day, and Easter.
